Take two

Well after a short break in my fishroom. I had to finish up my Ph.D. dissertation and it accounted for all of my free time. I am happy to report that my efforts to establish an Apistogramma breeding program are underway.

I still have a F1 femal cacatoides that was hatched in my tank a few years ago. I purchased a nice male from the LFS and have them together in a 29gal with hatchet fish as dithers. Additionally, I have two german blue rams (Microgeophagus ramirezi) that I am hoping to breed.

Soon I will be establishing a tank with appistogramma borelli and perhaps some tiger shrimp.
