Update on progress: The Endlers are doing great. Both females are getting close to dropping their fry. The male is really coloring up nicely. I will post pictures soon.

The Pel. pulchers seem content. I need to set up their new home soon. Hopefully they will not breed again before I move them. Their new tank should be ready by the end of the week.

Overall, the fishroom is doing well. I need to get a couple more tanks running, yet more stands and workspace is need to accomplish this. I will document the building of this for you all to see.

Endlers Livebearers

I recently collect a nice trio of Endlers from an LFS in Columbus, Ohio. The male is particularly nice and currently the females are getting ready to drop a few fry. Right now these little beauties are in a 5 gal tank with a sponge filter. I have a 10 gal that I plan on using for the fry. I plan on posting some more pics soon.

P. pulchers are doing well in their new tank. I will be moving them shortly to a permanent 20gal tank. I have decided against putting them in the 75gal African tank for now based on some sound advise I recived from Ted Judy www.tedsfishroom.com The pair spawned this weekend. Unfortunately the female ate the eggs. This is pretty common for a first attempt. I am not concerned as the pair seem to have bonded nicely.

New Fish Project

I am now keeping Pelvicachromis
Pulcher sp. Yellow in the fishroom. Right now the couple is resting in my freshwater quarantine tank. I bought this fish as a wildcaught (F0) from Nigera. I am planning on housing these fish in a 20 gal long tank for about two months then transfering them to a 75 gal African tank.
